The following guidelines contain general information to guide you before, during, and after your procedure.

Liposuction Pre-Operational
❊ No alcohol one week before the surgery.
❊ You should not take or eat/drink anything that includes blood thinner effects; aspirin, fish, fish oil, green tea, etc.
❊ No eating and drinking 8 hours before surgery time.
❊ You may take a bath and use shampoo in the morning before the surgery.
❊ Wearing comfortable clothing is recommended.
❊ Any chemicals or unnatural products should be removed; make-up, artificial nails, eyelashes, etc…
A Glance At Your Expected Journey In Turkey
A warm welcome from Silians Paris Clinic at the airport, depending on your arrival time, you are either taken to your 4-5 stars hotel or directly to the hospital for your consultation.
Your First Day
You will have an in-person consultation with your surgeon before your surgery, and your surgeon will walk you through your treatment plan details and sign a consent form then do general medical tests such as blood tests
Undergo your liposuction surgery which usually takes around 3 to 4 hours depending on the patient’s condition.
Initial check-ups by your surgeon when you regain your consciousness after anesthesia, and you will spend the night at our internationally accredited, high-quality hospital.
Your Second Day
See your lovely surgeon again: You will have your first check-up before you are discharged from the hospital. Your surgeon will explain to you post-op care in detail.
Say bye to the hospital: If everything is on track and your surgeon gives a green light (which is usually the case), you will be discharged from the hospital.
Private transfer, why not? You will be transferred from the hospital to the hotel via a private car and private chauffeur.
A 4-5-star comfort: Now it is time to enjoy your hotel stay.
Your Third Day
Who does not like lazy days in bed? You are advised to rest and relax and not to do any physical activities that may tire you.
Your 4th Day
Final check-up before the ‘goodbye’: You will meet your surgeon again for your final check-up. They will remove your stitches and drains. You will also be informed about your post-op care in detail and get your safe-to-fly report.
Private transfer to the airport: Just enjoy the last ride in Istanbul!

Aftercare Guidelines
❊ Avoid swimming pools and applying any pressure to the treated area for four weeks.
❊ Refrain from smoking and drinking alcohol for at least two weeks. These products always raise complication risks, also during the healing period.
❊ In the first few days, you will feel a flow from the incision holes. This is the special solution that was given to you before the liposuction.
❊ This solution should flow, but even if one drop of blood is mixed in, you may think that you are bleeding. But it is not bleeding at all; it is only the solution flowing and a typical phenomenon in liposuction surgery.
❊ Sterile bandages should not be taken off. You will be informed of future situations about bandaging by your doctor on your last check-update.
The healing success depends on your aftercare, therefore, please make sure to follow the instructions given by your surgeon
❊ Showering is not allowed up to your control date as long as your doctor does not advise anything different on your discharge.
❊ Before you come to your last control, you can take a shower normally. The main point is keeping the incisions dry. Your responsibility is always to keep your clothes clean and dry.
❊ Walking (even if you are in bed you can move your legs) and drinking water is very helpful for your health and body’s quick recovery.
❊ You should care for drinking water and eating fresh fruit juices.
❊ Exercises are not allowed for 3 weeks except walking.
❊ Right after the operation is finished, you will have permission to eat and drink, in certain periods, the nurses will give you strong painkillers according to your doctor’s direction. Please try not to insist on eating or drink between the first and 2-5 hours.
❊ Bruising and swelling are very common after liposuction surgery, so please do not get scared. Bruising mostly disappears in two weeks, but for swollen areas, it varies according to the person.
❊ The complete healing will take a year, but you will be able to see the shaping between 3-6 months.
❊ For a week, you may feel exhausted and sore because of the operation’s nature. Feeding healthy and enough liquid consumption will help.
❊ Should wear your compression garment for 6 weeks.
